Which Dog Training Collar is
right for me ?
So, choosing the right dog training collar may not be the easiest decision you'll
ever make. Let's be honest - if you've been shopping around a while, they can really
start to look alike in a surprisingly short amount of time. But at the end of the
day, buying a quality training collar that's going to do what you need, exactly when you
need it and last for years to come shouldn't require a PhD from McGill or Yale as
a pre-requisite.

endorse any units with less than a 1/4 mile range - this is to negate any possibility of
short fall in usable distance as the batteries wear down. A collar with less than
1/4 mile of range just isn't worth the money - period. This longer range basically
means the transmitter sends a stronger, more accurate and reliable digital signal to the
dogs' collar over distance. Your dog will never be "out of range" again with any

end, bargain priced units just don't hold up. They do not perform reliably or
consistently anywhere near their "claimed" distances - nor do they last very
